Maldives

  This is our Atoll - we are staying at Adaaran Select Hudhuran Fushi in the Maldives. It is part of the North Male Atoll. Our beach villa is on the Eastern side - the upper right hand side of the above picture. We had a swim in the sheltered waters this afternoon. Weather is hot and humid as expected. The walkway to main restaurant The beach outside our Villa this morning   Today started early with a boat trip out beyond the protective reef to seek out dolphins in the Indian Ocean - and we got lucky. Found a couple of pods and they gathered around the boat. During the day we swam many times in the crystal clear water just outside our Villa. The water is so warm, just perfect for me. Late afternoon we again boarded a boat to view the sunset. It was quite cloudy but I “captured” the sun as it set. The evening buffet was themed “Maldivian” so we tasted an assortment of new foods, all very tasty.  Sunrise Dolphins right beneath my feet as I was seated at the bow Sunset ...
